About this topic

Community can take shape in a neighbourhood, a workplace or a group of people who notice when someone needs help. Belonging grows through repeated gestures, but it can weaken when participation depends on conformity or when the work of caring falls on only a few people.

Here we explore solidarity, cooperation and the balance between shared needs and personal limits. These reflections consider how to contribute without carrying every burden, and how a community treats those whose circumstances or opinions differ from the majority.
